If I saw the bathroom scales go up I made sure to go to the gym more and not to replace eating with smoking. I also rewarded myself by pampering myself with something I normally wouldn't do for myself. In the event I pay attention to careful smoking control my cigarette use always goes down. I can not say that I do not think about smoking occasionally and likely always will but I also remind myself that what you save is both health and money. Your clothes don't stink of smoke your hair does not reek of smoke and you can taste the food you eat. You can also put the cash you would have used for punching smokes into a saving account and watch it add up.
